I enjoy eating at the smaller ma and pa's restaurants than big chain ones when traveling. If there are cars there you assume the food is good. I love the Soda Shop--classic '50s decor. http://www.southsidesodashop.com/ They're pies are to die for!Mallori Norrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14152325907660128771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271375082145370896.post-24621374893047755832017-05-22T10:05:32.697-04:002017-05-22T10:05:32.697-04:00I started smiling as soon as I saw the first photo...I started smiling as soon as I saw the first photo in your post. I love diners. Good food and fun memories. Thank you for sharing about diners. My fav food is usually meat loaf, mashed potatoes and green beans. Sometimes a burger and a Dr. Pepper are great, too. :-)Melissa Hendersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05180284059716992887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271375082145370896.post-76781194912863072252017-05-22T08:04:05.574-04:002017-05-22T08:04:05.574-04:00Love this post! We also try to find the "diners" that are small restaurants that you would probably call "holes in the wall", the food is usually pretty good. My rule of thumb is that if the tables aren't greasy, I'll try it at least once!!!Connie R.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12038621934457678475noreply@blogger.com
