We rode trains from Piggott, AR to Wichita Falls, Texas for my dad to work in the oil fields. The train ride was smelly, but the smell of crude oil was horrible. He told me to think of it as the smell of money and paying for our lifestyle. It never bother me after that.Linda Farmer Harrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08312511857601369355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271375082145370896.post-5244603272635866262015-09-28T11:09:57.620-04:002015-09-28T11:09:57.620-04:00Thanks for posting about re-enactments. When the sheriff stopped at our seats and started grilling us on where we were going, what we'd seen, and if anyone told us where the missing girl is, it became a lot of fun. Thank you for sharing it with me.Linda Farmer Harrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08312511857601369355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271375082145370896.post-72315864769835278842015-09-27T13:32:43.870-04:002015-09-27T13:32:43.870-04:00How fun would that be??
