I've seen panning for gold in a stream. Great research on the lady finding gold, staking her claim and producing a business. sharon, CA wileygreen1(at)yahoo(dot)comsharon mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10130208778591424260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271375082145370896.post-34352930384443418702014-03-09T11:56:01.530-04:002014-03-09T11:56:01.530-04:00I too hope your book series stay in Silverton. However, my grandfather lived in Victor and my mother was born there. I understand much of Cripple Creek's wealth came from the mines near Victor. He worked in the mining industry with his brother for a time between 1917 and 1922. So I guess it would be okay for either place. Reading your novels would surely be interesting. So write on! We had a house there for several years and had great times there going on every jeep trail we could find. The San Juan mountain range is one of the most beautiful in my opinion.
We actually went down in the The Old One Hundred mine and found it so very interesting. Panning for gold went we came back up was great too.

mauback55 at gmail dot comMelanie Backushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09727406782355039525noreply@blogger.com
