For shame! I'm sure she had secretaries and helpers of all kinds who could have done this for her. The cards looked beautiful and maybe someone important will bring them back. I have noticed business cards today with bright colors and not the boring printed only ones. An interesting post! sm wileygreen1(at)yahoo(dot)comsharon mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10130208778591424260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271375082145370896.post-26853253550659738542015-03-15T19:16:54.345-04:002015-03-15T19:16:54.345-04:00Thanks, Vickie, for your kind words. I must say this was another example of the proper and oftentimes ostentatiousness of the Victorians. It would have been fun to live during this time I think.carla stewarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06668815291865738037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271375082145370896.post-90056602824322132532015-03-15T17:50:02.661-04:002015-03-15T17:50:02.661-04:00Really interesting post, Carla. They have my website and email address but nothing more personal. I loved looking at the old calling cards and learning about how to use them.Vickie McDonoughhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09698966142886006577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271375082145370896.post-27858157126101150482015-03-15T12:53:15.350-04:002015-03-15T12:53:15.350-04:00How fun that you found some of the old cards - I w...How fun that you found some of the old cards - I would have wanted them all, too! (Truth be told I wanted them all.) Looking at calling cards is a great way to see what names were in vogue.Keli Gwynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13236868298400593688noreply@blogger.com
