I usually took a cushion to sit on for that reason. That same church had a similar sounding board. <br />Blessings, TinaMrs Tinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12896114843568971108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271375082145370896.post-75831862798070524152020-05-29T11:47:34.126-04:002020-05-29T11:47:34.126-04:00The simple architecture is so lovely! The beauty is in the God-created trees that provide the lumbar, as well as the hand crafting by man. Thanks for commenting! The pews are indeed small and cramped, but I enjoy the beauty of the simple architecture.Linda Matchetthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05921797723329487407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271375082145370896.post-37227562200324982112020-05-29T06:13:00.472-04:002020-05-29T06:13:00.472-04:00I'd never known the context of the phrase &quo...I'd never known the context of the phrase "sounding board" before. That in itself was interesting. Love the post today, and the pictures of the plain but beautiful architecture. Those old pews were small, narrow and uncomfortable, though. I've seen and sat in some of them!!!Connie R.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12038621934457678475noreply@blogger.com
