I was busy packing for the possibility of having to evacuate when a little boy came to the door. I could hardly see him through the smoke, but he was determine not to let anything interfere with his fun. He was the only trick or treater I had that year. Thanks for the post. I found it most interesting that "trick or treat" wasn't really used until 1951.
