It was fed as a series of names and dates, treaties and wars, and I couldn't make sense of them in the vastness of time. Then I discovered historical fiction, and from that moment on I realized I LOVED history. It only needed context--or rather, I needed to see lives lived out in the context of history. That said, some of my other covers, while professionally done by cover artists through their prospective publishers, had elements I provided via my daughter who is a photographer. She also modeled on the cover of one of my novels not pictured in the post (The Brightest Hope). My son is on the cover of a Smitten compilation also not pictured (The Highlanders). In high school, I focused every elective on writing, and I spent some time pursuing journalism. I married young and started a family, so from then on studied the craft of fiction, waiting many long years to finally get a book published.Naomi Muschhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12085434185905946302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271375082145370896.post-82887402390473045242021-05-15T16:00:24.727-04:002021-05-15T16:00:24.727-04:00Thanks for stopping in, Connie!
