I hope you DO get back to that book once your more recent novels are finished. Keep at it! Glad I could give you a little extra fodder for American History research. :)Tiffany Amber Stocktonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05015308280449078107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271375082145370896.post-41151543733495594172015-01-14T14:25:47.224-05:002015-01-14T14:25:47.224-05:00Susan, I would love to visit Mackinac Island and t...Susan, I would love to visit Mackinac Island and the fort there as well. I've set one book on the island and referenced it in a series, but all research has been done through the historical society and historians on the island.Tiffany Amber Stocktonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05015308280449078107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271375082145370896.post-47032005337394784882014-12-31T20:42:17.631-05:002014-12-31T20:42:17.631-05:00I've taught college level Amer. Delaware and hadn't heard most of those before--interesting and I will look forward to your series.<br />I've visited fully re-enacted Fort William in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada and love it. I actually have written a historical novel partially based there on figures who crossed Canada to establish Fort Vancouver, Washington. That book needs a final polish but I'm intent on final polish to a more recent historical novel and then its sequel, and then will go back to rework the earlier book. dtopliffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08968086817228552657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271375082145370896.post-13076568368356938432014-12-31T10:48:39.873-05:002014-12-31T10:48:39.873-05:00Fascinating! I love your photos and stories of New Castle. I would love to visit any of those early towns on the east coast. Mackinac Island and the Fort there are a favorite historical place we love to visit and learn about. Susan Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00885508869904521374noreply@blogger.com
