After the Great Chicago Fire, the wealthy built similar homes on the shores of Geneva Lake. One in particular is Black Point which I talked about in a HHH post a few years ago. Here's the link to that post. It's not available to rent like Casa Blanca but it's been so well preserved as a snapshot into the past.
