My husband grew up in the business and his dad started work making brooms and brushes as a young man. Our business dates back to 1907! Many changes have gone on since the business started and we hope that it continues to thrive for many years to come.

mauback55 at gmail dot comMelanie Backushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09727406782355039525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271375082145370896.post-8781262013893687692013-08-03T16:47:19.552-04:002013-08-03T16:47:19.552-04:00Susan, you've given me a new appreciation for ...Susan, you've given me a new appreciation for my broom. I recently bought a broom and dustpan combo that's really useful when our contrary icemaker in our refrigerator sporatically spits out an icecube and shoots it across the floor. We laugh about it now because we're used to it, but it does sometimes startle our visitors. :-) Susan Crafthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00922171469364860239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271375082145370896.post-35056787924705564662013-07-31T09:34:43.754-04:002013-07-31T09:34:43.754-04:00Sharon, what a nice way to start my day, knowing t...Sharon, what a nice way to start my day, knowing that you enjoyed The Chamomile enough to pass it on to your sister-in-law. I'm smiling. I wrote a sequel entitled Laurel, which is represented by Linda Glaz. It's about Lilyan and Nicholas' daughter. If you think of it, would you pray that it will find a good publisher? Of course it wasn't as authentic as the Shakers in the 1700s, but it was still very interesting.

My poor broom is feeling mighty neglected these days.
