AMISH HISTORICAL ROMANCE AUTHOR

                                                                                           Maryann's Hope releases 1-26-2021

As I write this, I'm helping my daughter, Misty, plan her wedding and writing my next book! I'd always wanted to write, but my full-time jobs demanded more than a 40 hour workweek. I was a Director of Regulatory Affairs for Pharmaceutical Research for four hospitals, and then a Contract Manager/Marketer for a Design/Build firm after that. My husband, Ed, asked me to quit and travel. I did. At twelve years old, I wanted to write a book, and the dream stayed with me. I hadn't told anyone, until I mentioned it to Ed. He said to go for it.

And I did. It hasn't always been easy, but here I am with a list of Amish books, and HANNAH'S COURAGE is my latest, which is the third book in my Amish Charm Bakery Series. She's waited to long to tell Timothy she'd accept his offer to court. Charlene has made her interest known, and she tells Hannah to stay away from him. Hannah finds out Charlene is not who she seems. Hannah faces life altering decisions that will change her life. Will she have the courage to make them? What will it mean for she and Timothy?

On a personal note . . . My husband, Ed, and I are Florida residents, and I like to swim, go to the beach, and spend time with Ed, my daughter, Misty, and friends. I can't get enough of watching the dolphins. I've swam with dolphins twice, parasailed once, and no, I won't jump out of a plane! I play golf, but I won't be signing up for a tournament anytime soon. LOL

I love butterscotch pie and strawberry shortcake. Connie Lynch, who is the head of the Keeping Up With the Amish Group, is a good friend, and she has a Girlfriend's Weekend at one of the Amish communities every other year. I love going to all the Amish communities in Ohio and Indiana with this group and sometimes with Ed on our own. The butterscotch pie is delicious, the shops are fun with quilts and dry goods. We watch the buggies and wagons go by, and talk with the Amish. Here we are eating in Indiana in a buggy!

I love God, and I asked Him to come into my heart at five. I've learned to pray about the small things and the big things. He's blessed me far more than I deserve. And He's never forsaken me when times have been difficult. I'm a national speaker for Christian Women's Connection, and I've met some of the most interesting ladies. Margaret is one of my favorites. She is Old Order Amish. She answered questions and gave me a boatload of information. She made my day. We had a good time.

So many readers encourage and support me. You're the reason I write. I can't thank each one of you enough for your kind and caring words.

Comment below and include your email address. You'll be entered for a chance to win a copy of HANNAH'S COURAGE.  Thank you for visiting me here today! Have a great week!
